Upbit and Bithumb, two of South Korea’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, have seen significant increases in trading volume for some altcoins over the past 24 hours.
The volume, concentrated particularly in $XRP, $ONDO, INFINIT, and various low-market-cap altcoins, indicated a renewed interest of South Korean investors in the altcoin market.
According to the data, the highest altcoin trading volume on Upbit was recorded by $XRP with approximately $90.5 million, while strong trading activity was also observed in projects such as $ONDO, $NEAR Protocol, $SOON, and INFINIT.
When data from the two exchanges were combined, $XRP emerged as the altcoin with the highest total trading volume by far. $ONDO and INFINIT were also among the projects generating high volume on both exchanges.
