Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s company, X, has finally delivered the long-awaited news. X has launched “Cashtags,” a new feature that allows users to view financial data related to stocks and cryptocurrencies directly in their timelines.
This news was announced by X product manager Nikita Bier. In a series of posts, Nikita Bier stated that the team has rolled out this feature to iPhone/iOS users in the US and Canada.
As you may recall, Bier also mentioned yesterday the possibility of launching a new cryptocurrency-related product.
Thus, X has made the ‘Cashtags’ feature available to iOS users.
Users can reportedly receive automated recommendations for specific stocks or cryptocurrencies and check real-time price charts via CashTag.
In other words, CashTag is a feature that automatically suggests stocks or cryptocurrencies linked to specific assets or virtual assets when a search is performed or a post is viewed. This allows users to accurately select the assets they want.
“…Today, we’re launching our new Cashtags feature on iPhone in the U.S. and Canada, bringing real-time financial data to X.”
Here’s how it works:
1. When you search for or share a cashtag or contract address, X automatically suggests matching stocks or crypto tokens, allowing you to select the exact asset you have in mind.
2. Anyone who taps on a Cashtag will see posts mentioning it and the price chart, without leaving X.
𝕏 has always been the best source of financial news for traders and investors. Billions of dollars are allocated every day based on what people read on Timeline.
