Binance Expands $RLUSD Across $XRP Network, Withdrawals Tied to Liquidity Build

Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has expanded support for Ripple USD ($RLUSD) across its platform. Binance announced on Feb. 12 that it has completed the integration of Ripple’s stablecoin on the $XRP Ledger and opened deposits, while outlining additional trading and product features introduced in recent weeks.

Ripple shared on social media platform X:

$RLUSD has launched on Binance with full XRPL support.”

In its latest update, Binance stated: “Binance has completed the integration of Ripple USD ($RLUSD) on the $XRP ( $XRP Ledger) network. Deposits are now open. Withdrawals will be opened once there is sufficient liquidity.” That update focused on enabling deposits through the $XRP network, with withdrawals to follow once liquidity conditions are met.

In earlier announcements published in January, Binance first introduced $RLUSD spot trading on Ethereum, launched a zero-fee promotion for $RLUSD/ $USDT and $RLUSD/U, and broadened the token’s availability across its yield products, conversion tools, lending features, and trading services. In the Jan. 22 disclosure, Binance stated: “Binance is excited to announce that Ripple USD ($RLUSD) will be added to Binance Simple Earn, ‘Buy Crypto’, Binance Convert, Binance Margin, and VIP Loan at the respective dates and timings listed below.” Those updates outlined margin support on Cross Margin, Isolated Margin, and Portfolio Margin, as well as card purchase options and balance conversions shortly after trading began. Ripple explained at the time: “The listing includes support for Ethereum, with the $XRP Ledger (XRPL) coming soon, and trading pairs $XRP/$RLUSD and $RLUSD/ $USDT available on launch day.”

Ripple USD is a U.S. dollar-denominated stablecoin issued by Standard Custody & Trust Company, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ripple Labs. Each token is backed by at least an equivalent amount of U.S. dollars and cash equivalents, and is designed to facilitate cross-border payments and institutional settlement. Binance encouraged users to apply prudent risk management strategies, noting that newly listed tokens can experience volatility, and directed traders to review updated margin data for collateral ratios, borrowing limits, and applicable rates as $RLUSD liquidity develops on the $XRP network.
