Thanks to the innovation provided by the Lightning Network, users of Amazon, can soon pay with Bitcoin for anything on Amazon.
This was the initiative of crypto payment processor, Moon, who announced today that any user with a Lightning wallet can utilize Moons latest browser extension to pay for good on Amazon in exchange for Bitcoin (BTC)
While it's not quite on the level of Amazon accepting BTC this new extension provides a huge amount of utility to the #1 opening it up to further use within e-commerce.

Talking to Coindesk, Ken Kruger, CEO of Moon spoke further of the company’s latest venture:
“[The extension] will pop up a QR code and it will have the lightning invoice, which you could also copy and paste if you can’t use the QR code for some reason, and you’ll be able to pay with your favorite lightning wallet.”
Simple as that.
Kruger added that there was “no direct merchant integration” specifying that Amazon does not touch the BTC itself, instead, Moon process the payment, exchange it for fiat and send over to the Amazon vendor.
According to Moon, the payment gateway will launch this Wednesday.
