Litecoin (LTC) Is Utilized For Miami Dolphins 50/50 Raffles

01 November 2019 07:59, UTC

Litecoin (LTC) helped the Miami Dolphins team increase their income from an average of $72,000 to $ 86,000 per game — by almost 20% in just a few months. According to data provided by Aliant, 46 transactions were made during the last home game, and most of them were made in Litecoin.

According to Aliant, one of the recognized payment processing services on the market, they helped “Dolphins” increase revenue by allowing users to spend cryptocurrencies on tickets. Most of the transactions were processed using Litecoin. Aliant also allowed to accept Bitcoins (BTC) for payment.

Users who paid for 50/50 raffle with bitcoins and litecoins indirectly support the Miami Dolphins Foundation — part of the funds received from raffles is directed to charity.

Aliant also claimed that other professional sports teams are interested in cryptocurrency payments. During the Litecoin Summit, Aliant CEO Eric BROWN said that negotiations are underway with various football and basketball teams to accept cryptocurrencies.
