Civic Moves Blockchain Identity And Wallet Solution To Solana Blockchain

Civic, a provider of blockchain-based identity solutions, has announced a technology integration with Solana. The collaboration will improve identity, ensure regulatory compliance and simplify the use of digital identity.

Civic is also building a consumer-friendly Solana-based gateway to DeFi, starting with a wallet that will offer a clear design, identity-based key management, and a secure place to store tokens. The wallet will be high speed and with low transaction fees. The company plans to merge the new wallet with its existing mobile wallet Civic Wallet over time.

Civic recently launched a flexible identity verification product that helps organizations quickly verify identity with minimal integration. Solana can currently handle up to 50,000 transactions per second with sub-second completion and transaction fees of just $0.00001.
