Steven Seagal reportedly endorsing Bitcoiin2Gen - might be a pyramid

20 February 2018 21:00, UTC

The movie star Steven Seagal known for his roles in Above the Law and Executive Decision has apparently decided it’s going to be beneficial to promote a cryptocurrency project with very strange properties.

Firstly, Bitcoiin2gen reminds of the Chinese fake goods much more than of a “more advanced version of Original Bitcoin”, as the press release boldly states. And Bitcoin Cash has already occupied the niche of a Bitcoin challenger potentially able to replace the original, as even some major investors are trying to convince the public about this.

Secondly, there is another certain strange detail: the anonymous authors of the project are encouraging to share information about it and invite more people in exchange for rewards, which greatly resembles one of the most characteristic red flags of a pyramid scheme.

Mr. Seagal himself, as seen from the press at the time of writing, has not yet confirmed his participation in this endeavor. There might be a slight possibility that the project developers are not telling the truth, but in doing so, they jeopardize the reputation of their business from the very start.
