Bankrupt crypto exchange FTX appears to have suffered a $400 million hack during the early hours of November 12. DO NOT update any of the FTX apps as these might be affected. It's best you delete them altogether, and wait for further information from the FTX representatives.
FTX US General Counsel Ryne Miller confirmed the development stating that they were investigating some “abnormalities with wallet movements” on the exchange.
He added that the exchange was moving its remaining funds to cold storage to mitigate the damage.
Members of the crypto community are speculating that the attack was carried out by an insider at the exchange.
