American restaurant chain Chipotle Mexican Grill, also known as Chipotle, once became the first U.S. restaurant brand to launch a cryptocurrency giveaway, and this time they have launched an online game in which fans will have a chance to win more than $200,000 in crypto.
The new game is called “Buy The Dip”, fans can access it and score free Bitcoin, Ethereum, Avalanche, Solana, or Dogecoin and use their crypto to buy real food at Chipotle. The game will be open from 10 am PT to 6 pm PT each day through Sunday, July 31.
"We want to build the next generation of Chipotle fandom by connecting with the Web3 community, ” said Chipotle chief marketing officer Chris Brandt. “We are excited to bring positivity to the crypto conversation by empowering fans to ‘Buy The Dip.’”
The company will give away $45,000 in Bitcoin (BTC), $10,000 in Ether (ETH), $13,750 in Solana (SOL), $14,250 in Avalanche (AVAX) and $14,250 in Dogecoin (DOGE) through the game.
Chipotle announced that through digital payment provider Flexa, approximately 3,000 restaurants in the US would accept 98 cryptocurrencies as payment.
