Chipotle: the fast casual restaurant chain that accepts crypto

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is a well-known American chain of fast casual restaurants in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, and France, specializing in bowls, tacos, and Mission burritos prepared to order in front of the customer.

According to reports, it appears that Chipotle has been diving into the crypto world since April 2021, thanks to its partnership with the digital payment-enabled app Flexa.

Lo and behold, since that time, Chipotle users can use 98 different digital currencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Avalanche, Solana, and Dogecoin, to pay for real food from Chipotle.

In this regard, Chris Brandt, Chief Marketing Officer said:

“We want to build the next generation of Chipotle fandom by connecting with the Web3 community. We’re excited to bring positivity to the crypto conversation by empowering fans to ‘Buy The Dip'”.

Bored Ape Yacht Club’s (BAYC) NFT-themed restaurant

Speaking of restaurants that accept crypto, one cannot fail to mention Bored & Hungry: the NFT-themed restaurant of Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) that accepts Ethereum (ETH) and ApeCoin (APE).

Indeed, at the beginning of July, Bored & Hungry announced that next fall it will open its second location in South Korea, specifically in Seoul.

That location is second as a fast food restaurant after the one in Long Beach, California, but first as the international headquarters of the Food Fighters Universe, the world’s first NFT restaurant group.
