It's being reported by Bloomberg that Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss today hosted an "Ask Me Anything" session on Reddit, during which they addressed, among other things, their commitment to getting a Bitcoin ETF passed and their belief that in the long run, Bitcoin will be quite prosperous.

It's been 3 years since my last #RedditAMA w/ @tylerwinklevoss! Come join us in 10 minutes (at 1pm ET) and ask us anything! https://t.co/kfXJweTrgU

The full thread can be read on Reddit here, but some highlights include the emphatic statement that "We are committed as ever to making an ETF a reality!" This should give confidence to those who are eagerly awaiting the approval of the first Bitcoin ETF, knowing that the two biggest proponents for it are still passionate about it.

When asked if they think Bitcoin will remain number one in the long-term, Cameron responded quite optimistically:

"Bitcoin is certainly the OG crypto! It's hard to defeat network effects — so in terms of 'hard money' (i.e., store of value) Bitcoin is most likely the winner in the long term."

Tyler elaborated on this view with a comparison to gold:

"Our thesis around Bitcoin’s upside remains unchanged... We believe Bitcoin is better at being gold than gold. If we’re right, then over time the market cap of Bitcoin will surpass the ~7 trillion dollar market cap of gold."

When asked how many Bitcoins the brothers currently own, Cameron responded vaguely with, "Not as many as Satoshi."

It is certainly refreshing to hear such optimism from two men who wield so much influence in not only crypto but traditional markets. Will this be the year of the first Bitcoin ETF? Stick with Chepicap to find out!
