Krool Toys explained that the game is available through an online platform, but only select NFT holders will get the chance to win physical gifts.

New York-based multidisciplinary creative studio Krool Toys has unveiled a new video game that depicts market activities around Elon Musk and Dogecoin. According to the firm through a press release, the game referred to as Dogémon is an adaptation of the popular Gameboy video game Pokémon.

Notably, Krool Toys partnered with Rarible to actualize the Dogémon game project. Rarible is a community governed non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace. Through the RARI token, the community can vote on the project’s future direction.

The Dogémon game will allow players to participate as Dogefather Elon Musk leading the Dogecoin against opponents such as GME Kid, Jeff Bezos, Bernie Sanders, and Janet Yellen before making their way to the SpaceX rocket and blasting off into the atmosphere.

A similar thing happened in the market in the past few months, when there was a significant skepticism over Doge market prospects. Although Musk has been involved with Dogecoin for years, his effect has been magnified in the past few months.

It all began when a group of Redditors short squeezed GameStop Corp (NYSE: GME) among other tech-related stocks earlier this year. The results were catastrophic for most hedge funds that reportedly lost billions of cash. While GameStop and the rest of the stocks subsided after trading activities were controlled by minimizing the number of trades per retail trader, the focus shifted to the cryptocurrency industry.

The cryptocurrency industry is largely globally accepted with the decentralization aspect offering retail traders a habitable ecosystem for speculative trading. Consequently, Elon Musk used his huge Twitter following to influence the market.

Within the same period, Tesla Inc (NASDAQ: TSLA) announced the purchase of $1.5 billion worth of Bitcoin. Additionally, the company announced plans to accept Bitcoin as a form of payment. Musk, however, retained his stance of Dogecoin support that resulted in a meteoric rise of the asset class.

Notably, the so perceived as traditional investors including Bernie Sanders, who have not fully embraced the cryptocurrency industry, were depicted as the opponent during the Dogémon game by Krool Toys.

According to the firm through the press release, although the game is available through an online platform, only a select few will win in physical gifts.

“While the game is available to play online, only select NFT holders to get the chance to win the physical Game Boy cartridges which are compatible with any Gameboy/Gameboy Advance/Gameboy Advance SP console,” Krool Toys explained.
