English actress Maisie Williams, who played the character Arya Stark in American fantasy drama TV series of Game of Thrones (GOT), has revealed that she is considering becoming a Bitcoiner.

Also, Williams is an internet entrepreneur, having “jointly developed and co-launched the social media platform Daisie, a multi-media networking app designed to be an alternative means to help artists and creators (especially those who are trying to get started) in their careers.”

In 2017, she got into tech entrepreneurship by co-launching with film producer Dom Santry a company named Daisie, the purpose of which is “to bring creators together and support them to do amazing work.” Daisie calls itself “the playground for creative collaboration.”

Then, according to a report by TechCrunch, on 31 January 2018, the company announced that the Daisie mobile app would be launched in Summer 2018. Williams said back then:

“I couldn’t be happier about the change we are currently seeing in creative industries and the movement towards women becoming truly valued,” said Maisie Williams, in a statement about the app’s development.

“I couldn’t be happier about the change we are currently seeing in creative industries and the movement towards women becoming truly valued…

“I want Daisie to give other creatives the opportunities that I was lucky enough to receive at the beginning of my career. Daisie will break down the archaic gap between youth and creative jobs; offering new opportunities for individuals to collaborate, learn and create – establishing a new way for talented individuals to be discovered and employed.”

The social media platform (which is available both on the web and as a mobile app) was officially launched to the public on 8 May 2019.

IT'S FINALLY HERE!!! So proud to announce Daisie is now open to all creators everywhere. You don’t even need an app — just go to https://t.co/pj4Sm9rQqE.

Thank you to everyone who made it possible!

Well, yesterday, Williams ran a Twitter poll in which she asked her 2.7 million followers if she should become a Bitcoiner:

Here was Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s reply:

Barry Silbert, the founder and CEO of incubator and crypto-focused venture capital firm Digital Currency Group (DCG), suggested to Williams that perhaps she should buy Bitcoin via DCG subsidiary crypto investment firm Grayscale Investments, which offers a single-asset investment product called Grayscale Bitcoin Trust.

you should check out @Grayscale (the other one)

Billionaire investor Mike Novogratz, the Founder and CEO of Galaxy Digital, told her that she should buy Bitcoin because its price is first going to $20K and then later $65K.

I bought more $BTC last night at 15800. It’s going to 20k and the. To 65 k. The network effect has taken over. I see tons of new buyers and there is very little supply. It’s an easier trade here that at 11k. So YES, buy it.

At the time of writing (08:10 UTC on November 17), the poll has had 696,462 votes, and there are 11 hours left.
