Tom Brady Thanks Ethereum’s Creator Vitalik Buterin.

Tom Brady, a former National Football League (NFL) superstar, has taken to popular microblogging platform Twitter to thank Ethereum creator Vitalik Buterin for everything he has done in the cryptocurrency industry.

In the tweet, Brady disclosed that even though Buterin may not know him, he has been a big fan of the Ethereum creator for a long time, while adding an emoji of a goat, describing Buterin as the G.O.A.T (Greatest of All-Time).

He thanked Buterin for his work and contribution to the crypto space that made it possible for several initiatives like Autograph, a non-fungible token (NFT) collection featuring Brady and other iconic sports superstars, to be launched.

Brady added that he hopes to meet the Ethereum founder in the near future.

“What’s up Vitalik! You may not know me but just wanted to say I’m a big fan of yours. thank you for everything you’ve built in the world of crypto, otherwise, @Autograph wouldn’t have been possible. Hope I get to meet you someday you’re the [G.O.A.T],” Brady tweeted.

Buterin Leads Ethereum Development

It is worth noting that Buterin has been at the forefront of the constant development that shot the Ethereum network into the limelight and has resulted in its widespread adoption.

Despite the fact that Ethereum has its own problems with high transaction fees, a majority of crypto projects including digital currencies, NFTs, Web3, among others are still being deployed on the platform.

With the enormous growth of the crypto industry over the years, Buterin shared concerns over the future of the space in his recent interview with TIME.

Trolls Came at Buterin

His comments came after the Ethereum founder stated over the weekend on Twitter that he did not know Brady, after a majority of his followers made jest of his physical appearance on TIME news outlets.

Many crypto enthusiasts made a series of jokes about Buterin’s physical appearance. The majority said he resembles Brady, who played as quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the NFL

“Tom Brady with the reverse Captain America super-soldier serum?,” a Twitter user with the username @LaneLarronde wrote.

In response to these comments, Buterin said the quote tweets about his physical appearance “are truly amazing,” however, he had to ask around in order to get an idea of who Brady is.
