Streaming giant Netflix has unveiled the trailer for a new crypto crime documentary that will dive into one of the messiest Bitcoin tales to date. The announcement was made on Twitter where Netflix launched the trailer about the upcoming series on its platform. Titled Trust no One: The Hunt for the Crypto King, the show is slated for release at the end of this month. https://twitter.com/NetflixFilm/status/1501649031101091853 As per Netflix's description, the series is based on the fall of Canadian crypto platform QuadrigaCX after the death of its CEO Gerry Cotton and will depict the journey of a bunch of crypto investors who turn into amateur detectives to investigate the suspicious death of the crypto mogul because they believe he took off with over $200 million worth of investors’ money. Some have even gone so far as to speculate that Cotton faked his own death and disappeared with the funds. While there is no hard evidence to back these theories, the FBI is currently investigating and seeking information from those who lost money after Cotten’s death. It remains to be seen whether the documentary will include any concrete details about the resolution of the saga, but it should at least direct the spotlight toward one of the more curious crypto cases of recent years.
