Polymarket has appointed veteran finance executive Warren Jenson as its Chief Financial Officer. The move comes as the prediction market platform accelerates its U.S. expansion and strengthens its global operations.

Jenson will report directly to Founder and Chief Executive Officer Shayne Coplan. He will oversee financial operations, capital planning, and long-term business strategy. Additionally, he will help build the financial infrastructure needed for Polymarket’s next stage of growth.

Veteran Executive Joins Growing Leadership Team

Jenson brings decades of experience from several major global companies. He previously served as CFO at Amazon, Electronic Arts, Delta Air Lines, and NBC. Moreover, he held senior leadership positions at Nielsen and LiveRamp.

His appointment highlights Polymarket’s effort to strengthen its executive team during an increasingly competitive period. The company has also recruited former Uber executive Travis VanderZanden as Chief Growth Officer.

Competition Intensifies Across Prediction Markets

Prediction markets have experienced significant growth during recent months. Combined August volumes at Kalshi and Polymarket reportedly reached $48.4 billion, according to Piper Sandler.

However, Kalshi generated approximately $40 billion of that activity during the month. Consequently, Polymarket faces increasing pressure to regain market share.

Besides expanding its leadership team, Polymarket continues building its regulated U.S. exchange and global platform. The company recently surpassed $1 billion in annualized revenue.
