U Power Limited, an AI-driven energy and transportation solutions provider, has launched its first tokenized RWA on the BNB Chain. The issuance was completed in partnership with PicWe, a blockchain platform for RWA, and is designed to represent physical energy assets in a regulatory-compliant digital format.
The initiative is part of U Power’s broader expansion strategy and focuses on its battery-swapping business. The company plans to deploy the model first in Southern Europe, where it is developing AI-powered battery-swapping and energy management systems for commercial electric vehicle fleets. Further expansion is planned across Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, and South America, where U Power already operates.
The launch follows U Power’s recent joint venture with FTT Holding Company LLC, a U.S.-based technology investment firm. The venture may receive up to $50 million to support battery-swapping infrastructure development in Southern Europe. According to the company, compliant tokenization frameworks may enable new forms of participation in energy infrastructure while maintaining regulatory standards.
