Artificial intelligence company OpenAI has announced a new app store for subscribers of the pro version of its popular chatbot ChatGPT. The new offering will allow users to discover and use customized AI chatbots known as GPTs for specific uses.
On January 10, artificial intelligence firm OpenAI unveiled the latest offering. The app store is for customers who have subscribed to its $20 per month ChatGPT Plus service.

Users can search the GPT Store for tailored chatbots. A company blog post states that users can utilize these GPTs to learn specific subjects or conduct crypto research.
The firm said that AI chatbot developers will be paid based on user engagement. It also plans to launch a GPT builder revenue program for US builders.
“GPTs are a new way for anyone to create a tailored version of ChatGPT to be more helpful in their daily life,” it stated.
OpenAI claims that building custom GPTs is simple to do and doesn’t require any coding skills. However, to build a useful GPT, builders will need to be subject-matter experts. They will also need to know their way around Large Language Models (LLMs).

Additionally, one could use GPTs to create customized AI assistants for crypto projects, DAOs, or NFT collections.
Moreover, smart contract and dApp developers could potentially use GPTs to generate AI code snippets, explanations, and documentation.
GPT chatbots focused on crypto education, market analysis, trading signals, and tax assistance could also emerge in the new AI app store.
OpenAI claims that three million GPTs have already been built. The firm’s latest offering adds momentum to the artificial intelligence race, which experts predict will be closely linked to web3 and crypto this year.
