South Korean multinational automobile manufacturing company Hyundai Motors unveiled a new NFT collection on the same day as the world premiere of its much-anticipated electric vehicle (EV) IONIQ 6.

Hyundai Motors has unveiled the roadmap of IONIQ Citizenship, a utility package for holders of the IONIQ 6 NFT Collection. It was introduced exactly on the same day as the world premiere of its electric vehicle (EV) IONIQ 6. https://twitter.com/Hyundai_NFT/status/1548851303043964929 The NFT membership program provides holders of the IONIQ 6 NFT collection with various utility benefits such as exclusive access to digital spaces, special digital content, and physical items related to IONIQ 6; some utilities may vary by rarity. The NFT collection comes with 5,000 IONIQ 6 NFTs in six themes - Fun Driving, Stress-Free Driving, Work, Socializing, Healing, and Entertainment. The company distributed the NFTs by airdrop for free rather than sales to lower the entry barrier. The membership program will further be expanded through various partnerships with virtual fashion items giveaways and exclusive VIP access on 'Planet Hyundai,' the company's metaverse platform. It will also offer an interactive virtual space, including an exclusive event, 'IONIQ Digital Garage,' for the NFT holders. Commenting on the development, the executive vice president, global chief marketing officer, and head of the customer experience division of Hyundai Motor Company, Thomas Schemera, said:
