India-based cryptocurrency exchange CrossTower has announced a partnership with blockchain company Ripple.

According to an announcement today, the partnership will see CrossTower list non-fungible tokens minted on Ripple’s XRP Ledger (XRPL) to its NFT trading platform, the CrossTower NFT marketplace.

Commenting on the development, Kapil Rathi, CrossTower’s CEO, said:

“We are thrilled to partner with Ripple and build our Web3.0 platform on the XRPL. Ripple’s commitment to building a developer network in India is particularly exciting for CrossTower as we are committed to developing India’s blockchain talent.”

CrossTower NFT Marketplace Features

The CrossTower NFT marketplace allows creators to easily list their various non-fungible token projects. The CrossTower team is committed to making things easier for creators in a bid to make their journeys into the world of NFTs smooth.

Notably, developers looking to list their non-fungible tokens on the CrossTower platform will have access to various infrastructures, including wallets, liquidity and payment support, and efficient customer service.

“CrossTower’s NFT marketplace is built for developers and creators seeking a holistic service to take their projects from idea to fruition,” the leading India-based exchange noted in a statement.

NFT fans will have a unique experience as they will be granted direct access to their favorite developers. Notably, fans will be allowed to purchase XRPL-based NFTs using their credit cards. Once payment has been made, the digital collectible will be sent to their XRPL-supported wallets.

CrossTower’s NFT Dominance

It is noteworthy that CrossTower has been supporting NFTs from other blockchains, including Ethereum. However, the cryptocurrency exchange chose to expand its NFT offerings by adding support for digital collectibles that are developed on Ripple’s XRPL.

“CrossTower is expanding its marketplace functionality to support XRPL which will significantly lower the costs and barriers to entry for creators who want to mint their projects on the blockchain best suited to enable settlement and liquidity of tokenized assets at scale,” excerpt of the announcement read.

CrossTower Will List New XRPL NFTs In Coming Weeks

Per the announcement, the CrossTower marketplace has already attracted significant projects, including digital collectibles from Antara and David Bowie World.

The trading platform noted that it has already lined up a series of projects on the XRP Ledger that will be rolled out on CrossTower NFT marketplace in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, XRPL is gradually becoming a home for NFT projects. This is mainly because of the technical prowess associated with the XRPL, which includes speed, and low-cost transactions, etc.

More so, Ripple has been dedicated to supporting various NFT projects via its $250 million Creators’ Funds.
