Affyn (FYN), a Play-and-Earn mobile metaverse platform, has sold out its generation zero non-fungible token (NFT) collection called Generation Zero Buddies in a matter of 100 seconds. The collection, which was made available to collectors of the world’s largest digital collectibles marketplace, OpenSea, claimed the number two spot among all Polygon NFTs listed on the platform.

Gen Zero Buddies is the first set of NFTs launched by Affyn. In total, the collection consists of 400 unique Buddies that boast various utility use cases across different metaverse ecosystems thanks to their inherent blockchain interoperability. Each Affyn’s NFT is one of a kind Mythical collectible featuring various traits and a rich backstory.
The Mythical rarity NFTs sold for 2,995 FYN tokens per collectible, or about $150 at current market rates. Excited about the success of their first NFT collection, Affyn founder and CEO Lucaz Lee stated:

Owners of unique digital collectibles from Affyn’s first NFT collection will be able to use them in the company’s own NEXUS metaverse, a mobile virtual world that is set to feature tokenized land plots, structures, commercial opportunities, and more. Each Buddy NFT is a digital representation of a character in the NEXUS world, with unique attributes and characteristics.
In light of the recent sale, the native token of the Affyn metaverse gained more than 12% in the past 7 days, despite the broader crypto downturn. At press time, FYN is changing hands at roughly $0.05 per token.
