Tencent Music is a multinational technology and entertainment music company in China. It is one of the biggest tech giants located in Shenzhen. Interestingly, Tencent’s QQ Music app announces an exciting update for NFT users. 

So, Tencent has started to test non-fungible token (NFT) profile picture (PFP) avatars. Also launching the virtual room “Music Zone” on its QQ Music app. Here on, the users can invite their friend’s avatars and chill in the same music space to enjoy music together. 

Moreover, along with Tencent music platform, the China Cultural Industry Association and other big tech companies joined hands for the future of the NFT industry. Thus from 04th July 2022, the use of digital collectibles will be in place with regulatory permits. And now, all the Chinese NFT enthusiasts are excited to explore the NFT music world.

Music World with NFTs in China

To add more interesting facts, these NFT PFP avatars are depicted as two-dimensional cartoon characters. And it depends on Tencent’s blockchain, Zhixin Chain. In addition, this new adoption of NFTs will excite millions of users in the Music app. 

Last year, QQ Music app ranked second holding over 275 million monthly active users among all the music apps in mainland China. 

More so, here is an additional offer for all the Android phone users. As per the announcement by Tencent, the official sale begins on 06th July, 2022. But the Android users can test the PFP NFT feature and the virtual room from Monday onwards. Additionally, each PFP cost is set up at 0.88 yuan (US$ 0.13). With an overall limited production of 4000 copies.  

Thus, technological adoption triggers an excitement for all tech firms in China. As China’s NFT industry can set up innovations for the future of non-fungible tokens.
