The boxer-dog themed collection by Filipino boxing legend Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao, scheduled for minting on July 15, will be released on the Cardano blockchain, the team behind the official non-fungible tokens (NFTs) said on Monday.

  • The collection is named in memory of Pacquiao’s Jack Russell Terrier dog Pacman, who was accidentally run over by a car in 2020. 
  • The collection consists of 9,999 algorithmically generated NFTs with visual and skill-based attributes like strength and stamina. 
  • NFTs holders can participate in blockchain game Pacman Boxing League to earn rewards. 
  • Pacquiao previously launched a licensed NFT project on the Ethernity chain in June 2021.
