As the NFT and Metaverse sector is taking a huge shape, top tiered organizations all over the world are entering the space continuously. Mars Inc. is the latest entry in this list.

The leading international chocolate manufacturer Mars Inc. has submitted an application for its well liked brand M&M. Michael Kondoudis, a licensed trademark attorney made this announcement in a Twitter post yesterday, highlighting that the request entails NFTs as well as virtual tokens, snacks and digital candies.

Furthermore, the application was created back on June 20 before USPTO covers the software for keeping, transmitting and authenticating, virtual currency and tokens and NFTs along with the crypto collectibles.

It is worth noting that international brands from distinct sectors are developing their interest in the metaverse. Several brands such as Adidas, Nike, Prada, Gucci, are among the few names who have already forayed into this space.

This is because they know how essential this space can be for them, as several folks all around the globe are admiring the concept of metaverse, and are rushing towards it.
