Eminem joins the NFT craze debuts first NFT collection | Invezz

The NFT space has caught the attention of several celebrities, as space continues to grow with different concepts, NFT projects, and marketplaces.

American Hip-Hop legend Martial Mathers, popularly known as Eminem, has joined the NFT revolution.

The Hip-Hop legend is partnering with no other than Nifty Gateway to roll out his first NFT at Shady Con.

He is now the latest to launch an NFT in line with athletes, celebrities, and other famous musicians who have rolled out their products.

Three sets of NFTs available

Eminem wants to auction three types of NFTs, with each of the designs created by him. Each of the NFTs is top-quality animations, with the original beat produced by the rapper. According to the arrangement, each of the first to NFTs has 50 editions, with each costing $5,000. The buyers will also a physical print which is autographed and number by hand by the rapper himself.

The first two are called “TOOLS OF THE TRADE” and “STILL D.G.A.F.” The third set of NFT, called “STAN’s REVENGE,” will be sold to the highest bidder.

Some of the most notable NFT projects from celebrities include Annoying Orange NFTs, Tom Brady’s Autograph project, and NFT collectibles by Kenyan movie producer Rish Allela. Actress Lindsay Lohan has also rolled out her NFT. The list keeps growing, and Eminem’s interest buttresses the increased popularity of the industry.

Nifty Gateway leading the NFT revolution

“It’s been a lot of fun coming up with ideas from my own collecting passion,” Eminem stated.

Senior Producer at Nifty Gateway commented on the development, saying that the company is “thrilled to welcome” Eminem into its platform.

Nifty Gateway was launched by Duncan and Griffin Cock Foster in 2018. It was later acquired by Gemini a year later. Since then, the platform has hosted and collaborated in auctioning several NFTs collections from celebrities.

Eminem’s NFT collection will be available for auction during Shady Con.
