Adobe's Behance has announced that it will allow users to link their Phantom Wallet to their Behance accounts. This integration will allow users to showcase the non-fungible tokens (NFTs) developed on the Solana network on their profiles.

The support for Solana NFTs on Behance has been enabled by QuickNode. QuickNode claims to be Solana's top node service provider, powering more than half of the Solana ecosystem.

"Starting today, you can connect your [Phantom] wallet and showcase the Solana NFTs you created on your Behance profile," said William Allen, the VP of Product at Adobe. The Phantom wallet is built on the Solana blockchain, and it supports decentralized finance (DeFi) and NFTs.

Adobe's Behance has already interacted with NFTs. The platform allows users to display Ethereum NFTs on their profiles. However, as per Allen's tweet, there were growing concerns over the NFTs developed on the Ethereum blockchain. The concerns revolve around Ethereum being an energy-intensive blockchain. Moreover, the network is notorious for high gas fees.

Solana has advertised itself as one of the most cost-efficient networks in the blockchain sector. Solana also consumes less energy than Ethereum, with one transaction estimated to use the same amount of energy as one Google search.

The eco-friendly and cost-effective nature of the Solana blockchain has been commended by the Phantom wallet. Phantom tweeted that the integration of Solana NFTs on Behance was a "huge" development that will allow users to enjoy the benefits of NFTs developed on Solana.

Adobe's Behance already supports Ethereum NFTs. The platform first unveiled an option for allowing creators to link their crypto wallets and BNFTs to their profiles in October last year. At the time, Allen stated that this move would allow artists to have more control of their work by ensuring they can proudly showcase what they own.

During the same month, Behance announced a partnership with some leading $NFT marketplaces such as OpenSea, SuperRare and Rarible. The partnership supported the creation of a Content Authenticity Initiative which will protect the work of digital creators from duplicators.

Allen noted that the Solana NFTs would also carry an authenticity feature to ensure that $NFT work is not stolen and credit is given to the rightful owners. "There is a lot more to come – additional chains as well as more advanced work to help inform artists when their work has been stolen," he concluded.
