For $452K, Eminem buys a Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT that looks like him - Bitcoin World

Eminem, the Grammy Award-winning artist, has joined the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), paying 123.45 ether ($462,000) on the OpenSea platform for one of the non-fungible token (NFT) apes.

Notably, Then legendary Detroit rapper Eminem has joined the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC).

So, Eminem’s trademark Bored Ape figure is depicted in the NFT “EminApe,” wearing a khaki army cap.

Then, and a gold chain necklace, both of which he frequently wears in real life.

GeeGazza, a BAYC member, sells the digital artwork for 123.45 ETH (about $450,000 USD). “I still think Eminem is destined to buy my @BoredApeYC one day.”

So, GeeGazza tweets in November 2021.

The deal was handled by Six, a digital agency that has previously worked with celebrities in the NFT industry. Which, includes Wu-Tang Clan, Tycho, and Galantis. It’s also not Eminem’s first attempt into NFTs:

the musician currently owns 15 NFTs on OpenSea under the alias “Shady Holdings.”

So, GeeGazza, a BAYC member who sold the ape, congratulates the performer for buying the NFT in a tweet. “I’m living in a simulation,” he write, adding: “Madness. Let me write a lyric in your next single.”
