Ferrari joins hands with Velas to enter NFTs.

Many people still wonder why NFTs can have such great added value to them. The reason is that when you buy one of these NFTs you guarantee your right to use them, being the sole owner.

We had several of these NFTs being sold for million-dollar throughout 2021 and this niche within crypto has already shown great potential, even because several giant companies have entered this world or shown some interest in participating like Adidas, Nike, Visa, and now Ferrari.

Ferrari Coming Onto NFTs

Another giant that has recently stated that it is interested in the non-fungible tokens is Ferrari.

Ferrari made an official announcement on their website:

The multi-year agreement provides for the creation of exclusive digital content for the Scuderia’s fans. In addition, Velas will be the Title Sponsor of the Ferrari Esports Series, the online mono-brand series of the Prancing Horse, and of the Esports team that will compete in the F1 Esports Series, the official digital championship competed in by all teams participating in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship.

Mattia Binotto, General Manager and Team Principal, Scuderia Ferrari said:

“We are pleased to start this collaboration with Velas Network AG, a company that makes innovation and performance the hallmark of technologically advanced products and services: these are all values that unite us and that led us to choose Velas as one of our Premium Partner.”

Velas tweeted the great accomplishmet:

Farhad Shagulyamov, CEO co-founder, Velas Network AG said:

“Having built a next-generation blockchain that puts the emphasis both on sustainability and performance, it was natural to partner with another icon of excellence, which is Ferrari. Velas has introduced an innovative variety of pioneering technology into the blockchain and associated products, which will now be showcased at the pinnacle of motorsport.”

After the news, the Velas token increased by 12% over the past 24 hours (at the time of writing). Over the week, the asset added more than 80%.

So we have another large company entering the NFTs in 2021 and the expectation is that this market will move become more big in 2022.
