Nike and RTFKT Confirm Dunk Genesis Sneakers Presale

Nike has confirmed a public presale for its most recent partnership with the digital fashion brand RTFKT. Unlike earlier releases, the RTFKT Dunk Genesis collection, the latest sneakers, can be obtained without requiring to own a corresponding RTFKT non-fungible token ($NFT).

Two incredible editions of these sneakers are scheduled to hit the market. They include the Nike x RTFKT Dunk VOID Edition and Dunk Ghost Edition, available for $222 apiece. Apart from these sneakers, an associated t-shirt is available, featuring brand logos and the catchphrase “Oops, You Stepped Into the Future”.

Advanced Design and Customization

The Dunk Genesis sneakers are designed to continue RTFKT’s tradition of advanced design, having features such as a “Modular Heel Shield” and a detachable “Vial Clip Tongue” to enable users to customize their sneakers. Buyers will get 3D files for the sneakers, allowing them to create their own modifications for the shoes.

RTFKT and Nike partnership is not a new phenomenon. The two firms have previously released the CryptoKicks sneakers and the RTFKT x Nike Air Force 1 sneakers in 2022, all of which required the acquisition of a non-fungible token.
