Alchemy Pay CEO during an inaugural Blockchain Infrastructure Alliance (BIA) dinner event announced that they are working on virtual crypto-linked Visa cards.
The event was held at the Waldorf Astoria, Shanghai on October 27th and was co-hosted by Alchemy Pay, Polygon Network, Draper Dragon, NEAR Protocol, and Bit.Store.
The news about the virtual card was made by Alchemy Pay CEO, John Tan, as he also highlighted the firm’s achievements.
Alchemy Pay’s virtual crypto-linked Visa cards
The Alchemy Pay virtual crypto-linked Visa cards will be connected to most digital wallets including PayPal and Google Pay and shall support over 40 cryptocurrencies.
Alchemy Pay intends to have the cards accessed by millions of merchants including those using Visa and Mastercard networks. The cars will also be useable on eCommerce platforms like Amazon and eBay.
Each virtual cardholder will however be required to stake 360,000 ACH tokens that will be redeemable at the expiration of the card.
The six renowned NFT artists that have been signed by Alchemy Pay will help in designing the face of the virtual cards.
Other issues discussed during the BIA event
The main aim of having the dinner was to celebrate the new alliance as Alchemy Pay and its partners seek to advance the blockchain industry.
The event was graced by hundreds of celebrities and leaders of the blockchain industry. Some of the firms represented include Mastercard, Alipay, Binance, Tencent, OKEx, Huobi, NEO, and NEAR among others.
Jon Tan gave the opening speech, during which he presented Alchemy Pay’s ecosystem and remarked on the outlook of the BIA. He highlighted how Alchemy Pay’s network had grown over a period of about two years.
At the moment, Alchemy Pay boasts of having over 150 core nodes that include DeFi protocols, crypto exchanges, banks, remittance partners, and merchant networks among others.
Alchemy Pay’s business scope has also been developed to cover over 200 payment channels in more than 60 countries in different parts of the world.
Alchemy Pay utility Token, ACH
ACH token is currently listed in most of the world’s renowned crypto exchanges including Coinbase, Huobi, POLONIEX, Gate.io, Uniswap, and Changelly.
ACH’s value has also risen by over 150% as the Alchemy Pay community continues to grow and also as the platform’s use cases increases.
Alchemy Pay’s ACH token and services are now available for use in everyday life activities like in-store shopping, buying groceries, and booking hotel accommodations. Users are also able to make cryptocurrency transactions and also make DeFi investments through the platform and using the ACH token.
