Crypto firm OKX appears to be going all in on artificial intelligence (AI) and nonfungible tokens (NFT) at the forthcoming Tribeca Festival. Between June 7 and June 14, Spring Studios NYC is set to host OKX’s NFT lab. In the space, festival-goers can test by minting their distinct, AI-generated content (AIGC) NFTs.
Strategically located on the ground floor, OKX’s NFT Lab will enable the attendees to customize NFTs by inputting text prompts into the OKX mobile app. Customized NFT generation is all possible with the help of AIGC tech, which utilizes machine learning to generate unique digital art.
What is the result of this endeavor? Every masterpiece will be minted as a nonfungible token on the blockchain and can be readily transferred to any wallet or listed on the OKX NFT Marketplace. To put it into perspective, the newly minted NFTs will get displayed in real-time on square screens within the lab.
Merchandise And Social Media
Not only will this content show off the creative side of Web3, but OKX will also install vending machines in the OKX Theater at BMCC TPAC. Notably, the machines will accept cryptocurrency payments for snacks and beverages through the OKX Wallet.
In case you have ever wanted to see an OKX-branded concession stand, you are definitely in luck when you choose this project. It comes with a wide range of items, ranging from popcorn to OKX merchandise. A promotion is found on the cards. Set up an OKX Wallet or snap and tag a clear picture of the concession stand, and you will get treated to free popcorn and OKX sunglasses.
While commenting on the Tribeca Festival, OKX Chief Marketing Officer Haider Rafique said:
“We’re proud to bring OKX’s NFT Lab to life at the Tribeca Festival, showcasing the potential of Web3 and AI technology in transforming the art world as we know it.”
The sentiment is echoed by OKX’s Head of US Web3, Nate Zou, who is quite excited about demonstrating the capabilities of the OKX Wallet and Web3 technology.
Tribeca Festival Meets Web3: An Ideal Intersection
Based on a statement by the co-founder and CEO Jane Rosenthal, the Tribeca Festival seems to be taking the necessary steps to incorporate Web3 into everything that the company does, assisted by its partnership with OKX. This alliance strives to offer fans, creators, and talent new opportunities that come with the emerging sectors of Web3, crypto, and the Metaverse.
In the ultimate touch of Web3 incorporation, OKX is set to launch the first Tribeca Festival NFT pass in 2023. This pass lets fans get up close and personal with the festival, including access to an exclusive awards ceremony that will be graced by Robert De Niro. It is believed to be a case of watching this space for more Web3 innovations from OKX and the Tribeca Festival.
