The NFT collective Proof is launching a new collection, in partnership with artists like Beeple, exclusively for Moonbird collectors.
Proof Launching Beeple NFTs
NFT collective Proof’s upcoming Moonbirds: Diamond Exhibition collection will feature 10,000 digital art pieces created by 22 artists. Some of the artists whose works will feature in the collection are Beeple, Summer Wagner, Daniel Isles (aka Dirty Robot), Michael Sidofsky, and Terrell Jones. The collection is to be made available only to certain Moonbird holders who have reached the Diamond Nest status by staking their NFTs.
Creating Buzz For The Diamond Exhibition
The collection will drop on April 27 and will be accompanied by two live events. To drum up buzz for the collection launch, a physical gallery to display the artwork in the collection will be organized later this month. Furthermore, Beeple’s LIVE Everyday party at NFT NYC will also be an ongoing event during that time frame. Finally, Proof is also hosting a party for Moonbirds holders at NFT NYC this Thursday, where Beeple will draw one of his Diamond Exhibition pieces in person.
A Diamond Nesters-Exclusive
The collection is to be made available only to specific NFT holders who have reached a certain level within the Moonbird ecosystem. This is a unique feature of the Moonbird NFTs, where users can avail of a nesting function to stake their NFTs with the company itself. Therefore, instead of listing or selling them, holders can lock up their NFTs for a significant time period. The longer this lockup period is, the more perks and rewards the holder receives. For example, token holders can reach the Diamond Nesters level if they have opted to stake their Moonbirds NFTs from the first day of the nesting program.
Voting And Raffle To Determine NFT Allotment
The Diamond Nesters are the lucky few who will be able to access the Diamond Exhibition. On April 18, the Diamond Nesters will be airdropped with a “Choice Pass” that they can use to rank the 22 artists from the collection. This voting will go on for four days, after which everyone who participated will receive art pieces from the collection via a raffle mechanism. In the next step, holders who had staked their Moonbirds within the first week of the nesting program will go through a similar process. This will continue until all 10,000 artworks have been distributed among the collectors.
