Lotte has signed a partnership agreement with Polygon to expand the global drive of the Lotte Group's NFT project. Lotte has been actively developing its NFT business by partnering with various companies, including subsidiaries of the Lotte Group, since it began investing in blockchain company Blocko last July.

Through this partnership, Lotte plans to accelerate the global expansion of various NFT projects in cooperation with leading domestic and foreign companies through active cooperation with Polygon. The company aims to create a new NFT business model with the active support of Polygon and become a competitive player in the global Web3.0 ecosystem.

The partnership will begin with the rebranding of NFT BellyGom. First released in August 2022 on the Klaytn network, BellyGom NFTs provide holders with benefits related to Lotte products and services, such as hotel vouchers or discount coupons. The collection will be called "BellyGom NFT Season 2". The company is still working on the project and has yet to announce a release date for the collection.
