Italian automaker Automobili Lamborghini is partnering with Web3 marketplace VeVe to release digital collections of its iconic sports cars.
NFTs will be listed on VeVe on February 19 and will display the Huracán STO model. Augmented reality (AR) should even allow collectors to drive a sports car. After purchase, users can showcase their NFTs on the VeVe app. It is available for both iOS and Android.
Lamborghini has previously released the “Epic Road Trip” NFT. Porsche released the NFT collection of its flagship 911 in January, but it was not a success. The incident raised doubts about the sometimes “rushed” Web3 strategy. McClaren and Alfa Romeo have also entered the NFT industry in 2022.
