Fractal recently announced the establishment of a partnership with Polygon. The game-based NFT platform, founded by Twitch co-founder Justin Kan, informed users via an official tweet.
In the tweet, Fractal mentioned 30 Polygon partners who will also conduct tournaments with the platform. These partners were tagged and mentioned in the short video linked with the tweets. In addition, the collaboration is exposing Polygon users to exclusive releases on Fractal.
It has been over a year since Fractal launched on Solana and gathered over 35 million dollars in the initial seeding round. This round was backed by names like Coinbase Ventures, Solana Labs, Andreessen Horowitz, Animoca, and others.
Currently, the platform is hosting multiple tournaments, NFTs, and Web3 games. Developers can even access a suite of tools, attracting a horde of new users as well. As for the latest collaboration, Fractal aims to onboard new users and offer extensive blockchain tools.
Moreover, the platform is proposing the financial framework needed to undertake game development. The F Studio product is also set to provide a polygon-based marketplace, launchpad, game launcher, Fractal sign-in service, and developer SDK.
In turn, Polygon plans to make an undisclosed strategic investment in Fractal. The funds will be used to expand the platform’s services. This is where the top 30 games on Polygon come in handy, as the titles will help Fractal run high-octane tournaments.
Robin Chan, Fractal’s co-founder, also talked about the recent development. Robin stated that Fractal has been supporting Web3 developers with tools that boost the future of gaming. Be it financial infrastructure or blockchain tooling, the platform has been putting in place the framework needed for seamless game development.
Naturally, the move also helps Polygon, as the network attracts new companies and projects into the ecosystem. The blockchain has recently joined hands with ventures like Starbucks, Reddit, and Nike, all of which have been highly successful. Given its recent performance, the collaboration with Fractal is also expected to be a massive hit.
