SuperCup of Spain NFT Collection on OpenSea sold out all 473 NFTs in less than an hour after launch. 3D Factory released the NFT collection on January 15 at 11 AM (GST) in collaboration with TNC Art and in conjunction with the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF). Afterward, 3D Factory and TNC Art will release another NFT collection in February 2023.
The SuperCup of Spain NFT Collection was launched to commemorate the Spanish Super Cup, a football tournament hosted by the RFEF. The tournament featured the winners and runners-up of the 2021-2022 La Liga and Copa del Rey. FC Barcelona won the tournament from January 11 to 15, defeating Real Madrid, Valencia, and Real Betis for their fourteenth Super Cup title.
Following this NFT collection, 3D Factory and TNC Art will collaborate on different collections of RFEF’s football teams. The first collection will be released in February 2023.
Real Madrid and FC Barcelona comprised the NFT Collection, the two finalists of the Spanish Super Cup. There were a total of 253 Real Madrid NFTs and 220 FC Barcelona NFTs, for a total of 473 SuperCup of Spain NFTs. These NFTs were a welcoming delight to fans of the Spanish Super Cup and especially to those passionate about the intersection of sports and technology.
Minted with the sole intention of showing support and wishing the teams the best of luck for their victory, the SuperCup of Spain NFTs were interestingly crafted with properties like jersey number, players’ field position, country, club, and age to fascinate the potential buyers. All of these were given special filters to search from on OpenSea.
Analytically, the NFTs were distributed among 220 owners, among which, 47% of them were unique visitors. The NFTs were marked at a floor price of 0.01 ETH and the total volume of sales hit 28 ETH.
They were minted in 8 hues such as Aurora Red, Brown Gold, Deep Purple, Dessert Wine, Hawaiian Sky Blue, Lightning Gold, Nature Mint, and Ocean Blue. They even had a ‘special’ card minted to perfection with 3D effects and lambent finishing.
On November 21, 2022, the RFEF and 3D Factory entered into a global metaverse-NFT sponsorship agreement. This resulted in RFEF becoming the first international football federation with its own metaverse.
Luis Rubiales, the president of RFEF, was only excited to discuss the collaboration with 3D Factory.
With this partnership with 3D Factory until 2027, we hope to grow together in the exciting world of the metaverse.
Similarly, 3D Factory also announced a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with TNC Group, a global blockchain service company, which was signed on December 30, 2022. The MoU was signed to promote a full-scale NFT business.
As a result, 3D Factory collaborated with TNC Group’s creative arm, TNC Art, to issue the 473 NFTs – which sold out in under an hour – to commemorate the Spanish Super Cup hosted by the RFEF.
