In recent months, despite crypto markets still being trapped in a bearish cycle, Bridge Champ managed to gain traction in the decentralized gaming segment.
As covered by U.Today previously, its early roadmap hinted at the possibility of crypto rewards and non-fungible token (NFTs) implementation in Bridge Champ's business model.
The new roadmap emphasizes a streamlined mobile and desktop experience for gamers. Also, its players will be able to generate NFT badges on Ardor blockchain. Besides that, the most successful players will be rewarded in INGIS tokens: all transactions will be verified on Ardor.
Credit card support and player rankings to be introduced in 2023
As the next steps in Bridge Champ's development and adoption, its team is going to add support for fiat payments from credit cards and players' rankings based on recent tournament results.
Lior Yaffe, a Bridge Champ project lead and a co-founder of Jelurida, is excited by the fact that his product implements play-to-earn elements and modules:
We are excited to enter the play-to-earn arena with a solution for online bridge play, bridge is arguably the most interesting card-based skill game ever invented, the combination of fun and exciting play with modern social elements and crypto integration creates an innovative solution never seen before.
Bridge Chain is the first-ever gaming app of Ignis, the blockchain by Jelurida's Ardor ecosystem. Ardor also oversees the development of veteran blockchain Nxt.
