Instagram And Facebook Enable NFT Integration For Solana NFTs

The decentralized blockchain platform, Solana has announced NFT integration support from Instagram and Facebook. The Twitter account shared that the integration will be executed in a few days allowing users to showcase their favorite NFTs.

Solana added that to avail of the feature, users have login into Instagram, head to settings, and then click on Digital Collectibles and connect their Phantom wallet. The tweet also included a video demonstrating the process.

After heading to the Digital Collectibles on Instagram settings, users will be presented with a range of wallet options including Coinbase, Dapper, MetaMask, Phantom, Rainbow, and Trust Wallet, according to the video.

After selecting Phantom, users can share their NFT collection along with a caption, the title of the NFT, and a description of the collectible, with their followers by just clicking on “New Post.” Moreover, they have the option to tag the creator behind the NFT.

In a continued thread, Solana asked Twitter followers to stay on the lookout for more thrilling announcements celebrating the Solana ecosystem, incoming in a few days.

Meta also tweeted about the integration while tagging Solana. “Soon you’ll be able to make and sell #NFTs on @instagram, starting with @0xPolygon,“ stated the social media platform. Meta also shared that users can connect Solana and Phantom wallet, and also read information about OpenSea collections.

In a previous announcement blog, Meta mentioned creators can create and sell their own digital collectibles on the Instagram app with an end-to-end toolkit supporting creation starting from the Polygon blockchain to showcasing and selling.

The blog had also highlighted that the new feature was being tested by a group of US-based creators and would soon be expanding to other countries.
