On OpenSea, and other marketplaces, there are NFTs of several curious projects for sale.

Summary

The most interesting NFT projects for sale on OpenSea and other dedicated marketplaces

The Lord of the Rings

One of the most curious ones by far is the one related to J.R.R Tolkien’s masterpiece “The Lord of the Rings.”

It is actually a Warner Bros initiative related to the first film in the well-known trilogy directed by Peter Jackson, titled The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.

The film, by New Line Cinema, is from 2001, but in 2010 Warner Bros itself launched the so-called “extended version” on the market.

Now the same film company wants to launch the first film as a multimedia NFT on its metaverse, the WB Movieverse, in a format called Web3 Movie Experience.

For now, it has made available two limited edition NFTs, in collaboration with Eluv.io, and with different degrees of rarity.

The Premiere Mystery Edition will have a print run of 10,000 copies, and will sell for $30. In contrast, the Premiere Epic Edition will only be available in 999 copies and priced at $100 each.

The former will have the interactive navigation menu, a theme based on one of the three locations in the film, and over 8 hours of additional material with an augmented reality location. It will be available in 4K UHD format.

In the second, however, all three locations (The Shire, Rivendell, and the Mines of Moria) plus several bonus image galleries with three augmented reality locations will be available.

Obviously the initiative, also building on the success of the recent TV series The Rings of Power, aims to launch the WB Movieverse.

NBA Top Shot

NBA Top Shot is actually a project launched as early as early last year, so almost two years old now.

But recently the roadmap for the fourth series was announced.

In fact, the 2022/23 season of the world’s most famous basketball league has just started, so NFTs of the new “top shots” will soon be available.

The NBA Top Shots are NFTs that capture the most salient moments of the championship, with the most expensive and sought-after collectibles in the new collection that will be even rarer than in previous series. A maximum of 99 copies per NFT will be minted, and in total, no more than 9,950 NFTs will be issued for the entire season.

Rare Moments will have a limit of 999 copies, while Flagship Rare Sets and Metallic Gold LE less than 400.

All this should serve to make the NFTs put on the market more valuable.

DC Collectible Comics (DC3)

The DC Collectible Comics NFT collection, also known as DC3, was also announced these days.

Again, this is a project that has existed for a while, but whose NFTs that will be put on the market have only now been announced.

For example, an NFT of copy number 1 of DC Comics’ most famous comic book, namely Superman, will be issued. It will cost only $9.99.

These NFTs will be precisely part of the DC Collectible Comics (DC3) collection, and will be issued with weekly releases. They will be sold on the nft.dcuniverse.com platform.

Superman #1, by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, will be limited to 3,000 copies.

NFT Hasbulla

Crypto Hasbulla is a limited-edition collection of NFTs that also serves to belong exclusively to Hasbulla’s worldwide Web3 community.

Hasbulla Magomedov is a true meme star.

He was born in 2002 in Russian Dagestan, so he is now 19 years old. He suffers from dwarfism, though, and looks only 3 or 4.

He became famous precisely because his face resembles that of a child, and so he has become the star of thousands of memes.

He is better known as Mini Khabib, thanks to his comedy skits where he tries to imitate MMA star Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Hasbulla Magomedov, aka Mini Khabib, has many fans around the world, who form a community of sorts. That is why it occurred to someone to create NFTs to sell to those who want to join the Crypto Hasbulla community.

Azuki Beanz NFTs

Azuki NFT is a project with 10,000 NFTs dedicated to Japanese anime.

Its largest collection is called Azuki Beanz. It was released in April 2022 with an airdrop intended for all owners of the original Azuki NFTs. The Azuki Beanz NFTs serve as a kind of helper for the Azuki NFT adventure, somewhat like the mutant Apes and Doodles in Bored Ape.

Beanz takes its cue from the Azuki community’s “red bean,” inspired by the “red pill” in The Matrix, and may play a role in the future onchain metaverse that Azuki is building.

Funko horror NFT

Another NFT project involving Warner Bros is that of Funko Series 1.

It is a Halloween-related initiative, and the collection, called WB Horror x Funko Series 1 will be available from Monday, 31 October on NFT Drop.

These are NFTs related to the wide range of Warner Bros and New Line Cinema horror films, including also The Exorcist, IT, and The Conjuring.

They are available in two different Digital Pop! packages: the Standard package, with 5 NFTs for $9.99, and the Premium package, with 15 NFTs for $29.99.

In total there are 25,500 packages available, for both the Standard and Premium versions, with the opportunity to win a very rare Funko Digital Pop! that can be redeemed for a physical collectible vinyl.
