Horizen Labs has announced that ApeCoin (APE) staking will be launched on Halloween, October 31st. The blockchain company also stated that the date could be pushed back by a week. The price of ApeCoin (APE) continues to rise amid recent events and the unlocking of 25 mln APE tokens.
The ApeCoin community voted in May to select Horizen Labs to create a staking platform for ApeCoin that rewards users who stake NFT APE, Bored Ape, Mutant Ape, and Bored Ape Kennel Club in their respective pools. Horizen Labs has shared the user interface of the staking platform, consisting of a dashboard, four staking pools, and market tools.
According to Etherscan data, the total number of unique wallet addresses holding ApeCoin (APE) has increased by 0.033% in the last 24 hours. At the time of writing, APE is trading at $5.88, up 5% in the last 24 hours and more than 20% in a week.
