According to the announcement, the following projects have been disqualified based on KuCoin’s Special Treatment rules and the tokens will be removed from the exchange:

  • Arcblock (ABT)
  • Aeron (ARN)
  • DATA (DTA)
  • IHT Real Estate Protocol (IHT)
  • Polymath (POLY)
  • Quantstamp (QSP)
  • Substratum (SUB)

Out of the list, the two most notable altcoins are undoubtedly Polymath and Substratum. Polymath, which raised an impressive $58 million token sale, was one of the most hyped projects of 2017 while Substratum has been blasted in recent months for mishandling ICO funds.

KuCoin notes that all relative trading pairs will be closed at 18:00 (UTC+8) Feb 03, 2019 and withdrawals will be supported until 18:00 (UTC+8) on May 03, 2019.

This news comes a week after KuCoin added several trading pairs for newly launched privacy coin Grin (GRIN). Grin trading is now live on KuCoin with Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) and Tether (USDT) trading pairs.
