Bitfinex Announces Delisting of 13 Trading Pairs, Blames Low Liquidity

Bitfinex has announced delisting thirteen trading pairs due to low liquidity. The withdrawal of these trading pairs will help Bitfinex consolidate and increase liquidity, giving its users a more simplified and optimized trading experience. The following trading pairs will stop trading on June 22 at 10:00 a.m. UTC:

  • The following tokens to Ethereum: Kleros (PNK/ETH); Stellar (XLM/ETH); NEO (NEO/ETH)
  • The following token to Bitcoin: Augur (REP2/BTC)
  • The following token to Magic Internet Money: Spell Token (SPELL/MIM)
  • The following tokens to Pound Sterling: EOS (EOS/GBP); NEO (NEO/GBP); IOTA (IOT/GBP)
  • The following tokens to Japanese Yen: EOS (EOS/JPY); NEO (NEO/JPY); IOTA (IOT/JPY)
  • The following tokens to Euro: NEO (NEO/EUR); IOTA (IOT/EUR)

Bitfinex to List Verasity (VRA)

Bitfinex has reminded its users that any open orders with the trading pairs must be cancelled before June 22 (Monday). The system will cancel any outstanding available orders. Users can only reduce their margin positions in EOS/GBP, EOS/JPY, NEO/ETH, NEO/EUR, NEO/GBP, NEO/JPY, IOT/JPY, IOT/GBP, and IOT/EUR starting June 22 at 10:00 a.m. UTC. On this day, the system will cancel any remaining open orders. Verasity will be listed on Bitfinex, which we are very excited about (VRA). VRA (ERC-20) deposits are now open as of June 22 at 10:00 a.m. UTC. VRA will be available for trading with US Dollars (VRA/USD) and Tether tokens (VRA/USDt) starting June 22 at 10:00 a.m. UTC.
