Poloniex, a top-15 cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume and subsidiary of Circle, has announced new institutional accounts that offer a number of exclusive services, including a curated selection of crypto asset trading pairs, dedicated support and more advanced API services.

According to the announcement, Poloniex’s team aims to lower the barrier to adoption for institutional investors by offering step-by-step support for onboarding and issue resolution, as well as higher withdrawal limits for accounts.
The move will allow Circle and Poloniex to compete against other leading crypto exchanges, which are becoming increasingly focused on institutions.
Most recently, Binance published an operations summary showing the steps it has taken towards the development of comprehensive services designed specifically for institutional and professional investors, adding to their already robust retail-focused product lineup.
To kickstart adoption, Poloniex is offering no fees on BTC/USDC trades while Circle Invest is offering free cryptocurrency rewards for new investors in the month of December.
