Crypto.com and OG.com have launched regulated cryptocurrency perpetual contracts for eligible US traders, expanding access to leveraged trading across the companies’ platforms. The new offering allows users to trade digital assets around the clock without contract expiration dates.

According to the press release, traders can access the product through the Crypto.com App and Exchange, with leverage reaching 5x. The launch also strengthens Crypto.com’s derivatives business as demand grows for flexible tools to manage cryptocurrency price swings.

New Trading Features Target Retail and Professional Investors

The perpetual contracts allow traders to take long or short positions depending on their market expectations. Additionally, users can set take-profit and stop-loss orders to manage potential losses and secure gains. Isolated margin also helps traders limit exposure to individual positions.

Consequently, the platform offers different trading options for retail investors and experienced traders. Users can combine spot holdings with derivatives to hedge against short-term market volatility. However, leverage can magnify losses as well as potential returns.

Regulatory Structure Supports US Expansion

Crypto.com recently registered as an introducing broker with the National Futures Association to support the launch. Meanwhile, OG.com operates a Commodity Futures Trading Commission-regulated exchange and clearinghouse, alongside a futures commission merchant.

Moreover, the rollout integrates perpetual trading into Crypto.com’s broader ecosystem of digital assets, prediction markets, and rewards. The expansion gives eligible US customers additional ways to navigate continuously changing cryptocurrency markets.
