Two leading South Korean cryptocurrency exchanges, Upbit and Bithumb, have decided to end trading support for the Zilliqa ($ZIL) token. Upbit announced that $ZIL will be removed from its platform on November 16th, while Bithumb also stated that it will delist the token.
According to an announcement by Upbit, trading support for Zilliqa will end on November 16, 2026, at 09:00. The exchange stated that the decision was made due to the failure to resolve the issues that previously led to $ZIL being placed on the delisting watchlist.
Upbit announced that, following an evaluation, it has determined that the existing issues related to $ZIL have not been resolved. Therefore, it has been decided to terminate trading support for the token on the platform.
