Binance Says Goodbye to These Altcoins as Prices Take a Major Hit

Binance announced that it will permanently remove two digital assets from its trading services catalog. With this move, Binance says goodbye to these altcoins on October 28, unleashing immediate downward pressure on their respective prices over the past 24 hours.

The altcoins being removed are Epic Chain (EPIC) and QuickSwap (QUICK). According to data from Binance, the platform will first delist both assets from its Copy Trading section on October 21, 2026, followed by the cancellation of all spot market orders seven days later.

Market data provided by CoinGecko showed that QUICK dropped 22% during the October 14, 2026 session. Meanwhile, EPIC’s price retreated 15% over the same 24-hour timeframe.

Exchange management stated that these decisions stem from regular performance and compliance reviews. According to the market report, the company evaluates operational metrics such as trading volume, order book liquidity, developer activity, and network stability against technical vulnerabilities.

Losing support on high-volume platforms typically restricts commercial exposure for affected projects. Industry analysts point out that exclusion from a global-scale exchange reduces the immediate liquidity accessible to retail and institutional holders.

A direct precedent occurred in August 2026. At that time, Binance delisted tokens such as Across Protocol (ACX), Hashflow (HFT), PIVX (PIVX), Vulcan Forged PYR (PYR), Vanar (VANRY), and Viction (VIC). Those assets experienced double-digit price contractions during the sessions following the notice.

Delisting Schedule and Infrastructure Maintenance

The technical timeline outlines that deposits for EPIC and QUICK will no longer be processed beginning October 29, 2026. In contrast, the platform will keep withdrawal requests open for existing balances through December 28, 2026.

In parallel, the company scheduled a wallet maintenance window on the Ethereum (ETH) network for October 15, 2026. This technical operation will temporarily suspend deposits and withdrawals on the blockchain for approximately 60 minutes, without affecting token trading across the platform.
