KuCoin has ranked among the top three centralized exchanges for $BTC spot market depth, according to the latest report from TokenInsight. The study highlighted the exchange’s strong liquidity performance across both spot and futures markets, placing it alongside some of the industry’s largest trading venues.
KuCoin Places Top 3 in $BTC Spot Market Depth
The report evaluated eight major crypto exchanges using several market-quality indicators. These include order-book depth, bid-ask spreads, and slippage across $BTC and $ETH spot and futures markets, as well as gold and silver futures products.
According to the findings, KuCoin ranked within the industry’s top tier for cumulative $BTC spot depth within the critical 0.03% execution range. This metric is closely watched by institutional and professional traders because it measures how much liquidity is available near the market price without causing significant price movement.
Tight Spreads Signal Strong Execution Quality
Beyond order-book depth, KuCoin also posted competitive execution metrics in spot trading.
The exchange maintained $BTC spot spreads around 0.01 basis points, placing it alongside major global exchanges such as Binance, Bitget, and OKX. $ETH spot spreads also remained within the industry’s most competitive range, reflecting strong two-sided liquidity and efficient order-book performance.
Futures Market Performance Remains Stable
In derivatives trading, KuCoin continued to demonstrate stable infrastructure performance. The report showed the platform’s $BTC futures spread at 0.010 basis points, matching several leading global derivatives exchanges. $ETH futures spreads also remained tightly competitive among major trading venues.
According to TokenInsight, liquidity competition among centralized exchanges is increasingly concentrating among a smaller group of top-tier platforms. The firm noted that order-book depth, execution quality, and market resilience are becoming increasingly important differentiators for institutional market participants.
KuCoin’s latest ranking reflects the exchange’s continued focus on trading infrastructure and institutional-grade market quality amid intensifying competition in crypto trading.
