Binance Alpha Announces It Will Remove Numerous Altcoins from Its Watchlist for Failing to Meet Platform Criteria! Here Are the Details

Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has announced a comprehensive listing update on Binance Alpha to enhance user security and maintain platform standards.

According to the exchange’s statement, 20 tokens that were determined not to meet the platform’s criteria as a result of the latest evaluations will be removed from the featured assets list as of May 14, 2026, at 09:00.

Projects to be removed from the list include notable titles such as PRAI, COMMON, PINGPONG, TAKER, KLINK, CORL, ZKWASM, and ECHO. Additionally, JANITOR, GATA, SWTTCH, ARIAIP, LONG, GORILLA, LITKEY, FIR, GM, DELABS, DONKEY, and WHY tokens will also be affected by the removal decision.

Binance officials stated that the decision is part of their regular review processes and was made to ensure users have access to more transparent, reliable, and sustainable projects. The statement emphasized that Binance Alpha will continue to support innovative blockchain projects, but assets that do not meet the specified quality standards will not remain on the platform.

This removal doesn’t mean the tokens are completely delisted. These assets will simply be removed from Binance Alpha’s featured projects list. However, analysts say that such decisions can reduce the visibility of these tokens, putting pressure on short-term trading volumes and price performance.

Market experts say Binance’s move demonstrates the increasing importance of quality control mechanisms in the crypto ecosystem. They emphasize that users should consider not only short-term price movements but also the technical development, community support, and long-term sustainability of projects when making investment decisions.
