Popular tokenization firm Ondo Finance has expanded access to tokenized U.S. stocks, exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and commodities by integrating Ondo Global Markets directly into MetaMask, a leading self-custodial crypto wallet developed by Consensys.
Announced on Feb. 3, the integration allows eligible MetaMask mobile users in supported non-U.S. jurisdictions to buy, hold, and trade more than 200 tokenized U.S. securities directly inside their self-custodial wallet beginning today.
Available tokenized U.S. securities include giants such as Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA), Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA), Apple (NASDAQ: GOOGL), Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) and Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN), as well as ETFs linked to gold, silver and the Invesco QQQ Trust (NASDAQ: QQQ).
The launch marks one of the first instances of native access to tokenized U.S. equities and ETFs within a major self-custodial wallet, reflecting the growing push to bring traditional financial assets onto blockchain rails.
Tokenization moves closer to mainstream finance
For MetaMask, the integration represents a step toward becoming a unified interface for digital finance, combining crypto assets with tokenized exposure to traditional markets in a single wallet.
For Ondo Finance, the partnership significantly broadens distribution. Tokenized real-world assets (RWA) have surpassed $22 billion in total value globally, and the latest integration places Ondo’s tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs directly in front of MetaMask's millions of on-chain users.
“Access to U.S. markets still runs through legacy rails,” said Joe Lubin, founder and CEO of Consensys and co-founder of Ethereum.
He added that a self-custodial wallet offering seamless access to both crypto and traditional assets represents “what a better model looks like.”

How Ondo Global Markets works inside MetaMask
Users can access Ondo Global Markets through MetaMask Swaps, acquiring blockchain-based Global Markets (GM) tokens using USD Coin (USDC) on the Ethereum mainnet. These tokens are designed to track the market value of their underlying securities, subject to applicable terms and fees.
Trading is available 24 hours a day, five days a week, from Sunday at 8:05 PM ET through Friday at 7:59 PM ET, with tokens transferable around the clock.
“Integrating Ondo Global Markets introduces an entirely new asset class into a familiar wallet experience,” said Ondo Finance president Ian De Bode, adding that the pricing mirrors traditional brokerage markets while remaining fully on-chain and self-custodial.
The integration is live on MetaMask mobile for eligible users in supported jurisdictions, excluding the United States, United Kingdom, European Economic Area, China, North Korea, Iran, Venezuela, and several other regions.
