Coinbase CEO Reveals Top Three Cryptocurrency Priorities for 2026!

The year 2025, which was quite eventful for Bitcoin (BTC) and altcoins, has come to an end. 2026, however, began with bull and bear debates following the sharp declines experienced in recent months.

While there are both bullish and bearish predictions for 2026, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong has outlined the exchange’s priorities for that year.

Coinbase CEO X announced his New Year’s goals for 2026 in a statement made via his social media account.

• “To grow a global exchange encompassing everything from cryptocurrencies and stocks to commodities, including spot, futures, and options.”
• Stablecoins and payments need to be scaled up.
• Coinbase aims to bring more users to the onchain through its developer platform, Base chain, and Base App.

Finally, the Coinbase CEO stated that the exchange will also increase its investments in product quality and core automation, adding that their goal is to make Coinbase the world’s number one financial app.
